How to read conversion stats per offer, source and sub-ID

Applies to: Tracker & affiliate users · Optional feature — available when your network has it switched on

Once conversions come in, you want to know where they come from: which offer, which traffic source, which placement or sub-ID. This guide shows where to find each view, and how to look at single conversions when a number looks wrong.

Before you start#

  • Conversions arrive through postbacks — see How to receive conversions from an affiliate network.
  • For per-placement or per-sub-ID numbers, your tracking links must pass those values into a sub-ID slot (subid, sid1–sid10). Name the slots under Settings so the reports use your names.
  • On a combined account, switch the top bar to Trk.

Steps#

Per offer#

  1. Open Tracker Reports and set the date range at the top. Every tab uses it.
  2. Under the filters, pick an Offer (or an Offer Type) to focus on.
  3. Open the Performance tab. It shows Clicks, Conversions, Conv A, Conv B, Conv C, CR%, Earned, Cost, Profit and CPA over time. Switch the View between Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Summary.

Per country or device#

Open the GEO or Devices tab with the same filters to see which countries or devices convert.

Per traffic source and per sub-ID#

  1. Open the Custom Params tab.
  2. Under Parameter, pick Source to compare your traffic sources, or a sub-ID slot (for example your Zone slot) to compare placements.
  3. Under Break down by, pick a second dimension — for example Parameter = your zone slot and Break down by = Source, so the same zone ID on two networks isn't mixed up.

If the tab says No custom parameters recorded yet, none of your links pass a sub-ID yet: Open Tracking Links to add one, or Name your parameters first.

Single conversions#

  1. Open Conversions. If logging is off, tick Log all conversions — from then on every incoming conversion is listed here.
  2. Filter by From / To dates and Status, or Search by click ID, IP or sub-ID.
  3. Click a conversion and choose Show outbound postbacks to see what was forwarded to your ad network, with the result.
  4. The Rejected tab lists postbacks the platform refused, with the reason and the URL exactly as the network sent it.

Check it worked#

  • The totals in Tracker Reports match the number of conversions your affiliate network shows for the same days (allow for time-zone differences).
  • Each offer's Conv A/B/C columns line up with the conversion types you labelled under Postbacks.
