Ad Server for Publishers
GoAdserver is a publisher ad server for people who run their own websites. Put every ad placement under one roof, fill it from your direct deals, your ad networks and real-time bidders, and see exactly what each placement earns, on your own domain and without a third-party ad server between you and your revenue.
What a publisher ad server is
A publisher (first-party) ad server decides what fills your ad space. Instead of pasting one network’s code into each placement, you create ad zones in your own ad server, and it chooses the best ad for every visit: a direct deal you sold yourself, a campaign from one of your ad networks, or a bid from an exchange. You keep the control, the data and the margin. More background: what is an ad server.
Set up your sites in minutes
- Websites: add each site and verify that you own the domain.
- Ad zones: create a zone per placement and choose from more than 35 ad formats: banner, native, video, VAST, push, pop, interstitial, in-page video, sliders, reels and more.
- One embed code: the ad control script loads every zone on the page and handles formats and fallbacks, see goCtrl.
Several ad networks in one zone
With SmartZones you combine the ad codes, iframes and URLs of several ad networks in one ad zone. GoAdserver ranks them by what they actually pay, per country and device, and serves the best one for each visit. Add direct deals with priority delivery (see direct deals) and real-time bidders, and every impression goes to the highest-paying source.
Protect your rates and your visitors
Floor prices per zone keep low bids out, frequency caps stop over-exposure, and you decide which campaigns and ad types may run where. Block advertiser domains you don’t want, filter ad experiences that fail the Better Ads Standards, and let AdScanner catch malicious redirects and hidden scripts before they reach your visitors. When a browser blocks a pop ad, a full-page fallback keeps the revenue.
More revenue streams from the same visitors
- Push: collect push subscribers with the Push Collector and earn from auctioned notifications after visitors have left.
- Bought traffic: buy traffic for your zones on other networks and judge every source on profit with Agentic Media Buying.
How it works
- Add and verify your websites.
- Create an ad zone per placement and choose its format.
- Connect your demand: ad network codes in SmartZones, direct deals, your own campaigns and RTB.
- Paste one embed code into your site template.
- Optimise: compare eCPM per zone, raise or lower floors, and drop the sources that don’t pay.
Grows with your portfolio
Add as many websites and ad zones as you run; clone an existing website to set up the next one with the same zones in seconds. Give your team members access with only the rights they need, save report filters for the views you check every day, and automate anything through the API. When other site owners ask to sell through you, the same platform becomes a white-label ad network: they get their own publisher accounts, earnings and payouts, and you keep the margin.
Frequently asked questions
Do I still need my ad networks?
Usually yes. A publisher ad server doesn’t replace your ad networks; it decides which of them, or which direct deal or bidder, fills each impression, so you stop leaving money with a single network.
Can I sell placements directly to advertisers?
Yes. Direct deals and flat-rate campaigns get priority delivery on the zones you sell, and the rest of the traffic still goes to your other demand.
Does it slow my pages down?
The ad decision takes under a millisecond, and one embed code loads all the zones on a page, so you don’t stack several networks’ scripts.
See what every placement earns
Real-time statistics show views, clicks, CTR, eCPM and revenue per website, zone, country, device and hour, with bot views and clicks separated out so you judge performance on human traffic. Visitor analytics adds who visits your sites and what they read, next to your ad numbers. Export any report, or pull it through the API.
