Pricing & Volumes
Applies to: Advertisers · Optional feature — available when your network has it switched on
What this is#
Two advertiser pages that help you plan before you bid:
- Pricing shows the minimum bids: the lowest price the network accepts for its inventory, per country, ad type, pay type and device. Where your network publishes rate cards, the page opens with Our rates — what the inventory actually sells for, with the volume behind it.
- Volumes shows Traffic Volumes: how many impressions a day are available per country, for the ad type, device and connection you choose.
Together they answer "what will it cost at least?" and "how much traffic is there?".
Your network decides whether these pages are shown; if they're not in your menu, they aren't switched on for your account.
When you'll use this#
- Before creating a campaign: to set a bid that's accepted and to size the daily budget.
- When a campaign doesn't spend: to check that your bid is above the minimum and that there's volume for your targeting.
- When planning a new country or format.
Step by step#
Check minimum bids#
- Open Pricing in the advertiser menu.
- If your network publishes rate cards, Our rates is shown first. Click View rates on a card to see the prices and volumes it quotes. The minimum-bid table is under Minimum bids; use Show to open it.
- Filter the table: Ad Type, Display Type, Pay Type (CPM or CPC), Country, Device Type, Connection Type, Language, ISP and, where they apply, carrier, location and link type.
- Each row shows the Minimum bid for that combination. Reset filters clears your selection.
Check traffic volumes#
- Open Volumes.
- Filter by Ad Type, Device Type, Pay Type and Connection Type, and search for a country if you like.
- The table lists each Country with its Volume: the daily impressions available for that combination. Sort by volume to see the biggest markets first.

Display types in Pricing#
Some ad types have several display variants with their own minimums:
| Ad type | Display types |
|---|---|
| Banner | Regular Banner, IM, Floating, Fixed IM, In-video, Interstitial |
| Native | Regular, Native Bar, Web Push |
| Video | Pre-roll, Mid-roll, Post-roll, Slider, In-page |
What the numbers mean#
| Figure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Minimum bid | The floor: bids below it are not accepted for that traffic. It is not the market price; bids above the minimum win the volume. |
| Our rates | The network's published rate cards: what the inventory sells for, with its volume. Use these when you want a quote. |
| Volume | Daily impressions available for the selected ad type, device and connection in that country. |
Example#
Eva plans a CPM banner campaign for Germany and Austria on mobile. On Pricing she filters Banner, Regular Banner, CPM, Mobile and finds the minimum bid for each country. On Volumes she filters Banner and Mobile: Germany has several times Austria's daily volume. She bids a bit above the German minimum, a little higher for Austria to win more of its smaller volume, and sets her daily budget from the volumes she can realistically buy.
Tips#
- Bidding exactly at the minimum rarely wins much; it's the lowest accepted price, not a competitive one.
- Check the minimum for the exact display type and device you target: in-video, interstitial and mobile often differ from regular desktop banners.
- Volumes are a planning estimate. Your targeting, frequency caps and competition decide what you actually buy.
Troubleshooting#
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| No Pricing or Volumes in the menu | Not enabled for your network or account | Ask your account manager. |
| "No pricing data available for the selected filters" | No minimum is set for that exact combination | Widen the filters (for example All devices). |
| Campaign doesn't spend although the bid is above the minimum | Competing bids are higher, or your targeting is narrower than the volume you looked at | Raise the bid gradually and check the campaign's targeting. |
