How to see what your sites and ad zones earn

Applies to: Publishers

The Statistics page shows your views, clicks and earnings for any period, and lets you narrow them down to one website, one ad zone or one country. This guide answers the questions publishers ask most: what did I earn, where did it come from, and how do I get the numbers out.

Before you start#

  • Statistics appear once your ad zones have had traffic. The most recent hour or two can still be filling in, so recent figures may rise a little later.

Steps#

See your earnings for a period#

  1. Open Statistics in the left menu.
  2. Set the Date range at the top, for example the last 7 days or this month.
  3. Under Display by, choose how the rows are grouped: Day, Hour, Week, Month, or Summary (one row for the whole period).
  4. Read the table: Views, Clicks, CTR, eCPM, eCPC and Earnings per row, with the totals underneath. Use the column picker to show extra columns such as Ad Requests where your account has them.

Narrow it down to a website, ad zone or country#

  1. Click Add Filters.
  2. Pick what to filter on, for example Website, Adzones, Country, Device Type, Ad Type or Adzone Type, and select the values.
  3. The table updates. To start over, use Clear filters.

To see one website's zones side by side, filter on that Website and set Display by to Summary, then open the details as below.

Break one row down#

  1. Click View Details on a row (a day, for example).
  2. Switch between the breakdown tabs: By Country, By Domain, By OS, By Browser, By ISP, By SubID and the others your account shows, such as By Advertisement or By Campaign.
  3. Sort a column to find your best and worst performers.

Save a view you use often#

  1. Set the date range, grouping and filters the way you want.
  2. Open Saved Filters, enter a Filter name... and click Save.
  3. Next time, pick it from Saved Filters to restore everything in one click.

Export the numbers#

  1. Click Export.
  2. Under Group by, choose how the exported rows are grouped.
  3. Download the file and open it in a spreadsheet. The export follows the date range and filters you set.

Check it worked#

  • The Earnings total for a period matches the sum of its rows.
  • Filtering on one website shows only that site's ad zones in View Details.
  • The exported file has the same totals as the screen for the same period and filters.

Troubleshooting#

Symptom Likely cause Fix
Today looks low The last hours are still being processed. Look again later, or judge a full previous day.
No data at all A filter excludes everything, or the date range is in the future. Click Clear filters and pick a past range.
An ad zone is missing It had no traffic in the period, or a filter hides it. Widen the date range and clear the filters.
Earnings differ from a network's own report Different time zones or the network counts differently. Compare whole days; for SmartZones, see the network's figures on the Smart Zones page.
The export is empty The filters on screen return no rows. Check the table shows data before exporting.
