An online shop already has everything a good ad needs: a product name, a photo, a price and a page to send people to. GoAdserver now turns that catalogue into ads on its own: native ads for every product in stock, banners drawn from a template, product cards on top of a video, and a second look at the exact products a visitor viewed. It works the same on an ad network and on an ad manager, for every advertiser account in the panel.

One feed, kept in sync
The advertiser pastes the address of the feed their shop already makes for Google Shopping, or a CSV/TSV file with the same column names, and picks a native or banner campaign. The ad server reads it every hour, 6 hours, 12 hours or once a day, and keeps the campaign's ads in step:
- a new product in stock becomes a new ad;
- a changed title, description, price, link or image updates its ad;
- a product that is sold out or has left the feed has its ad paused, not deleted, so its statistics stay and it comes back with the product.
Feeds of up to 20 MB and 5,000 products are read. The price can be added to the ad title, and the campaign's own budget and targeting steer all product ads at once. More on the product feed ads page.
Dynamic banners without a designer
On a banner campaign, each product is drawn into a banner of the size the advertiser picks. Three ready layouts cover most shops: Card (image, title, price and a button), Overlay (the product photo fills the banner with the text along the bottom) and Minimal (mostly text with a small image). The layouts follow the shape of the size, so a 728×90 strip puts everything in a row and a 300×600 stacks it.
Brands with their own look use their own HTML template with placeholders such as {{title}}, {{price}} and {{image}}. The form shows a live preview with a sample product. Because the banners are drawn when the feed is read, the ad server serves ordinary banners, as fast as any other. See dynamic banners and the live demo.
Show visitors the products they looked at
With Show visitors the products they looked at switched on, the advertiser adds the product id to their retargeting pixel on the product pages. A visitor who viewed products from the feed then sees those products first, for 30 days. A visitor who viewed none of them sees the whole range as before. No separate retargeting platform and no extra campaign are needed.
Shoppable video
Video ads can now carry up to 8 clickable overlays, each shown from one second of the video until another, in a corner or at the bottom centre of the player:
- a hotspot: a short text button such as Shop the look or Book now;
- a product card: product image, name, price and a button. Cards can be filled straight from a product feed with one click.
Every overlay can have its own landing page, so one video can sell several products. A click counts as a click on the ad, and the ad form shows how often each overlay was shown and clicked in the last 30 days, with its click-through rate.
Overlays play in GoAdserver's own players (in-stream, slider, in-page, reels and the video carousel) and, through the ad's VAST, in players on other sites that support the SIMID standard. Details on the shoppable video ads page and in the demo; the video ad server page covers the rest of the video stack.
How to start
- Create a native or banner RON campaign, or use one you have.
- Open Feeds, tab Product catalogues, click Add product feed, pick the campaign and paste the feed URL.
- For banners, choose a layout and size. For retargeting, switch it on and add
pid=to the pixel. - For video, open a video ad and add hotspots or product cards under Shoppable video: overlays.
The step-by-step guides are in the manual: Product Feeds and Shoppable Video. Feeds and overlays are also in the REST API, so a shop system or an AI assistant can set them up too. Every format is on the ad formats page.
