See Every Ad Format Live, in Your Own Panel Too

A publisher deciding on an interscroller wants to scroll past one. An advertiser buying a pop-under wants to know what the visitor will see. Until now the honest answer was a screenshot, or "create a zone and try it". Every ad format GoAdserver serves now has a live demo page, running real ad zones with the code to copy next to them. And every network on GoAdserver can publish the same demos in its own panel, under its own name.

October 2026

30 demo pages, one per format family

The demo hub has a card for each page: banners in every standard size, a responsive banner and a site skin; native ads in five ready-made layouts and a native bar; video pre-rolls, in-page video, sliders, reels and a video carousel; pops, full-page ads and interstitials; push, interscroller, in-image, sticky ads, vignettes, HTML5 rich media and dynamic banners from a product feed. Newer channels have their own pages too: audio spots in a podcast, ad pods on a connected-TV player, in-app ads through Prebid Mobile, digital screens, email display ads and sponsored messages for chat bots.

These are not mock-ups. Each page runs real ad zones on our own ad servers, filled by a set of made-up advertisers, and shows each display option of the format side by side: a native unit as cards, as a list and as tiles, a video ad as a pre-roll and as a slider. Impressions and clicks are counted the way they are for any zone.

The code next to the ad

Under every demo is the embed code that produced it, exactly as the panel gives it when you create that ad zone. A publisher can see the format, see which option made the difference and know what goes on their page, before they have an account. For formats that are not a script tag, such as in-app or bot ads, the page shows the request and the answer instead.

Formats that cover the page (pops, full-page ads, interstitials, push prompts) never fire on their own. Each starts from a button, so the pages stay readable while you look around.

Your own demo pages, on your own domain

A network that sells these formats needs the same thing for its own publishers and advertisers. Under Settings → Content → Ad format demos, an admin switches on /demo on the network's own panel domain. The pages carry the network's name, logo and colours, and none of your customers' data is on them.

  • Only what you offer. The list follows the ad zone types switched on for your network. A demo of a zone type you don't use never appears.
  • Untick what you don't sell. Some formats are options of a broader zone type: interscroller and in-image belong to the banner zone, CTV and rewarded video to the video zone. Untick a demo and it disappears from /demo at once. Preview opens any demo in a new tab.
  • Share the link. Send it to a publisher who wants to see a format before creating a zone, or to an advertiser who asks where their ads will appear.

Run the demos on your own ads

By default the white-label pages are filled from a shared demo account. Use your own ads moves them onto your network: pick a publisher and an advertiser (on an ad management setup, one account for both), tick the demos, and a wizard creates a demo website, one ad zone per demo and the campaigns, ads and creatives behind them. After a few minutes the pages run on your own ad server, with your own zone code, and a click lands on a page of your own panel.

The demo zones serve only the demo campaigns and the demo campaigns serve only in the demo zones, so nothing leaks into real traffic. Use dedicated test accounts, because the demo zones count impressions and earnings like any zone. Update adds or archives demos when you change the ticks; Remove archives everything and the pages fall back to the shared account.

Who it helps

  • Ad networks get a format showroom for sales calls and sign-up pages, in their own brand.
  • Ad managers can show a client's team the units before they go on the client's site.
  • Publishers pick formats by trying them, and copy working code.
  • Advertisers see their creative in context before they buy.

The full list of formats, with a link to each demo, is on the ad formats page. Some formats are available on request; ask us which ones suit your traffic.
