Agentic Media Buying: Buy Traffic That Pays for Itself

GoAdserver Introduces Agentic Media Buying for Ad Zones Filled with Bought Traffic

GoAdserver now includes Agentic Media Buying, a set of tools for ad zones that you fill by buying traffic on other ad networks. It shows what every source placement earned and what it cost, blocks the ones that lose money, and keeps the network campaign in step with the demand on your own platform.

October 2026

Many ad networks and ad managers buy traffic from external networks such as PropellerAds, Zeropark, MGID, Adsterra or ExoClick and send it to their own ad zones, where their campaigns monetise it. The hard part is not buying the traffic. It is knowing which of the hundreds of placements behind a single network campaign actually make money, and acting on that every day without living in two control panels.

Agentic Media Buying brings that work into GoAdserver. You connect your network account, link the ad zone to its network campaign, and from then on the ad zone itself tells you where the profit and the losses come from.

One report: revenue and cost per source placement

Once the network passes its placement ID on the traffic URL (GoAdserver shows the exact parameter to add, with a copy button), every visit is linked to the placement it came from. The Source zones report then lists, per placement:

  • traffic, conversions, revenue, cost, profit, margin and CPA;
  • Delivered: the share of the visits the network charged you for that actually reached your ad zone;
  • Off-geo: the share of visitors from outside the countries the campaign buys, often scanners and cloud servers.

Where the network reports cost per placement, the report shows the exact figure. Where it only reports the campaign total, the cost is split by traffic share and clearly marked as an estimate.

Block, allow-list and bid without leaving the panel

Every row has a Block button that stops buying that placement at the network through its API. You can also turn the campaign around and build an allow-list of only your profitable placements. Bids can be read and changed from the same screen, and on networks that support it, per placement.

No network campaign yet? On supported networks you can prepare one from the ad zone: the landing URL with the right macros, the countries your campaigns target with a suggested bid per country, devices, daily budget and frequency cap are filled in for you. You check it and send it to the network for review.

A buying policy that works while you sleep

Agentic Media Buying is off on every ad zone until you switch it on. The first time you do, it suggests settings based on the zone's own traffic and starts in Advise mode, so nothing happens without your approval.

The policy judges each placement on rules you control:

  • minimum margin and maximum CPA over a window of days;
  • minimum cost and traffic before a placement is judged at all;
  • delivery and off-geo thresholds that catch traffic which never arrives or comes from the wrong countries;
  • a confidence mode for campaigns paid per conversion, so a placement that has not converted yet gets a fair chance to.

In Advise mode, proposals appear under To approve with the numbers behind each one. In Auto mode, blocks are carried out within a daily maximum you set.

Stop buying when your campaigns can't use the traffic

Paying for traffic that your campaigns can no longer use is pure cost. The network campaign is paused automatically when the campaigns on the ad zone run out of budget or cannot take more traffic, and resumed when they can. On top of that you can set a daily spend cap, a stop-loss for the day, a day-budget reserve and a minimum time between switches.

On supported networks the policy can also set the campaign's daily budget at the network, propose excluding countries, operating systems or hours that lose money, and propose IP ranges known not to be human for exclusion, so you stop paying for them before any placement has to be blocked.

The buying agent

The agentic part is a buying agent that reviews the whole buy on a schedule, from every 15 minutes to once a day. It reads the same report and history you do, writes a short summary, and proposes blocks and bid changes. You can give it plain-language instructions, such as a placement it must never touch.

The agent always works inside the limits of your buying policy. Proposals that break a limit are dropped, and the agent never does more than the maximum number of actions per review. Like the policy, it can run in Advise mode, where you approve each step, or in Auto mode.

Every decision explained

Everything the policy, the agent or a team member does is listed in the activity history: when, who, which placement, whether it was applied, and why, for example margin 7.7% below target 15.0% (3 days). Blocked placements show who blocked them and why right in the report, and the history can be downloaded as CSV. A placement you unblock yourself is never blocked again automatically.

Availability

Agentic Media Buying is part of GoAdserver's ad management software and is available on request. Every connected network gets the source report, the pause and resume controls and the agent's review. Exact per-placement cost, blocking, allow-lists and bidding depend on what each network's API allows; The supported networks are listed below. Contact our team to enable it on your platform.

How to set it up

The documentation walks you through it step by step: set up an ad zone for the traffic you buy, then start Agentic Media Buying on it. Every report, control and setting is explained in the Agentic Media Buying reference.

Supported traffic networks

Agentic Media Buying connects to these traffic networks today, for mainstream and adult traffic alike, and to every ad network that runs on GoAdserver:

Mainstream

  • PropellerAds
  • Zeropark
  • MGID
  • RichAds
  • Adsterra
  • Bidvertiser
  • HilltopAds
  • PopAds
  • Push.House

Adult

  • ExoClick
  • TrafficStars
  • TrafficJunky

Any ad network running on GoAdserver

Every ad network built on GoAdserver is supported, mainstream or adult, and gets the most complete automation of all: exact cost per placement, blocking and allow-lists, bids per placement and per country, the network's daily budget, dayparting, excluding countries and operating systems, and launching the campaign itself from your ad zone. You connect with an API key from your advertiser account on that network. Because both sides count with the same technology, the delivered traffic matches the network's figures almost exactly.

What can be automated per network (exact cost per placement, blocking, allow-lists, bids per placement) depends on that network's API. Any other network still gets the source report, with the cost per placement estimated from the campaign total, and more networks are being added.
