Some of the best paying placements are not on a page at all: a link in a newsletter, a button, a parked domain.
These zones are plain URLs. The ad server picks the advertiser at the click, counts it, and sends the visitor on. Both links below are live on a demo account.
A mail-click zone is one link you put in your newsletters. You write the link text; at the moment a reader clicks, the ad server picks the best paying advertiser and sends the reader there. No images or scripts in the mail, so it works in every mail client. Give each position its own sub ID to see in the stats which spot earns.
Our editors picked five cities that are at their best in April: short flights, mild weather and fewer crowds than in summer. Here is where to go and what it costs.
SponsoredToday's travel deal from our partner →Lisbon tops the list: trams, tiles and pastel de nata, and hotel prices still well below the summer peak. Barcelona and Rome follow close behind.
SponsoredPartner offer: see what's on sale this week →You receive this mail because you subscribed to Voyalark Weekly.
Click a sponsored link: it goes through the ad server, is counted as a click on this zone (with the sub ID of its position) and lands on the advertiser's page. Leave email= empty, or let your mail tool fill it in when a buyer asks for the reader's address in its link.
A redirect zone is a URL that sends every visitor straight to an advertiser: for exit links, buttons, parked domains or traffic you buy elsewhere. Country, device and connection filters on the zone decide who is redirected; everyone else gets nothing.
